A friendly, neighborhood church

Silvery Lane
Baptist Church

For nearly nine decades we have gathered on this corner of Hass & Silvery Lane to preach the Word, sing the old hymns, and love our neighbors.

¶ Welcome, friend

You are
expected.

Whether you have walked with the Lord for decades or have never set foot inside a church, our door is open. Park in our lot, slip into a pew, and let us take good care of you. There is no dress code, no spotlight, no pressure — only the old gospel preached plainly and people who are glad you came.

We have been on this corner since 1939, raising four generations of Dearborn families in the faith. We would love to meet yours.

Pastor Chris Staub
Our Pastor — since 1981

Pastor Chris Staub

For more than four decades, Pastor Staub has stood behind this pulpit week after week — preaching the King James Bible, leading bus routes, knocking on doors, and loving the people of Dearborn Heights. He and Mrs. Staub raised four children at Silvery Lane and now share five grandchildren.

A vibrant, traditional service — spirited gospel hymns, plain preaching, practical for everyday living.

What we believe

The same old Book.
The same Good News.

We are an Independent, King James Bible-believing Baptist church. Our doctrine is not a marketing campaign — it is a quiet inheritance, faithfully kept and faithfully passed on.
